A Message From Our Founder

Welcome to the official website of the Union County Community Assistance Network (UCCAN)!

Thank you for visiting.

Union County CAN was created as a direct line of communication and action between our community and the leadership committed to serving it. No matter who you are or why you’re here, whether you’re a resident seeking assistance, a family member or friend looking for ways to help someone in need, a business or organization interested in providing services and partnership, or a corporate sponsor ready to make a meaningful contribution, know that your voice and support truly matter here.

At UCCAN, we are committed to improving the quality of life for children, families, seniors, and individuals facing hardship by connecting them with essential resources, supportive services, and opportunities for long term stability and success. Our goal is to address the real challenges our families encounter every day, including access to food, housing, employment, education, health, transportation, and public safety, while treating every individual with dignity.

Through programs such as food assistance, back to school support, identification assistance, senior services, employment help, recovery support, homeless outreach, and community transportation, we help build pathways toward stability and brighter futures.

Together, we can create a stronger, more united Union County where every resident has access to basic needs and meaningful opportunities to thrive. We invite you to join us, whether by seeking the support you may need, volunteering your time, partnering as a service provider, or contributing as a sponsor or donor.

I look forward to connecting with you.

In service and solidarity,
William Johnson
